About

With his album Re-Inventions, percussionist Rupert Struber aims to showcase as wide a range as possible of percussion instruments, along with their sonical, technical and musical possibilities. His goal was to transform ‘noise’ and ‘sounds’ into music through articulation, phrasing and expression. The musical spetrum ranges from his own compositions to classics and key works of the percussion repertoire, right through to pieces that are as rather little known, bringing together the timbres of around 100 instruments.
