Works for Accordion
Six different composers created six different compositions in different periods of development of this young chamber group — accordion trio. Each of them, in his own way and technique, gives musical thoughts to the listener. However, both of them, composers as well as musicians, possess an extraordinary ability to produce interesting and rich sounds. These incredible contrasts encouraged us to place these compositions on our first CD. They range from minimalistic Åm and Lang, through the compact compositions of Haas and Hosokawa, to the fragmentary “running of the sounds“ of Rojko and the "obligatory" Mutta whose work represents one of the major milestones of music for this ensemble.
